Description
A dilatometer (DIL) is a highly accurate laboratory instrument that measures the minute changes in the strength (length or volume) of materials such as glass and ceramics as a function of temperature under fire pressure. The instrument precisely measures expansion or contraction and accurately determines parameters such as coupled linear expansion (CTE) and softening points of glass.
