Description
The device consists of a metal gripper to firmly hold the edge of the flat circular disc of leather while leaving the middle part of the disc (a hollow circular metal ring) free to move, and a piercing arm consisting of a round steel ball with a diameter of (0.64 mm) that is automatically pushed into the center of the disc on the fleshy surface of the leather.

The sample is cut into a circle with a diameter of 35 mm. The sample is held in the device so that the flesh side faces the steel ball and the grain side is flat. The middle metal part is then placed for mounting, and the metal clamp is tightened securely
