Description
The Wet Transfer Apparatus is a specialized electrophoretic tank designed for the electro-transfer of proteins from polyacrylamide gels (SDS-PAGE) onto membranes such as PVDF or Nitrocellulose. It uses an electric field applied across a buffer-filled chamber to drive negatively charged proteins out of the gel and onto the membrane for subsequent antibody-based detection (Western Blot)
