Suez University's Faculty of Engineering underwent an inspection tour by the National Bank of Scientific Laboratories and Equipment as part of its follow-up of labs eligible for accreditation from the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC). The tour was conducted under the patronage of Suez University President Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heneigel and Supreme Council of Universities Secretary Prof. Dr. Mostafa Refaat. Led by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mostafa El-Habbaq, Director of the National Bank, and accompanied by Dr. Heba Mohamed Abdel-Latif and Mr. Mahmoud Mohamed Ezzat from the Supreme Council of Universities, the team was joined by Faculty Dean Professor Dr. Sameh Yehia, Labs Unit Director Associate Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed El-Dessouki, and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragab. The team inspected 25 labs in the labs and workshops building. The dean explained the labs' uses and emphasized the importance of linking the university with industry, utilizing the labs' advanced equipment in research projects for engineering material development, community service, and marketing research for the external community. The inspection team stressed the need for periodic device maintenance and student training, praising the Faculty of Engineering's efforts in providing modern, well-equipped labs. This aligns with the university's plan to develop and enhance its labs, upgrading its infrastructure.
