Description
The Transient Evoked Otoacoustic Emissions (TEOAE) device is a diagnostic audiology instrument used to assess cochlear (inner ear) function, specifically outer hair cell activity. The device emits short acoustic stimuli into the ear canal and records the echo responses generated by the cochlea. It is widely used for newborn hearing screening, early hearing loss detection, and auditory function evaluation.
