Description
A precision behavioral instrument used to perform the "Hot Plate Test" (Eddy and Leimbach method). It provides a constant, highly accurate thermal stimulus to a rodent's paws. The device measures the latency (time) until the animal exhibits a nociceptive response (such as paw licking or jumping). The DS 30 model is known for its extreme temperature stability (typically within $\pm 0.1$°C).
