Description
Electrospinning is a technique used to produce ultrafine fibres (nano- to micrometre scale) from a polymer solution or melt, by applying a high voltage electric field to draw a charged jet of polymer to a grounded collector. These fibres can form non-woven mats, aligned fibres, or other architectures, useful for filtration, membranes, scaffolds, sensors.
