Description
The MulitGene Gradient can be programmed to operate with uniform temperature across the block for consistent results, or with a horizontal gradient for protocol optimization. Up to twelve temperatures can be evaluated at once. Rapid heating and cooling of the precision machined sample block is achieved by six Peltier modules and controlled by a sophisticated algorithm. Programming is intuitive with the large display and graphical representation of the program steps. The software allows for a variety of programming features such as increasing and decreasing time and/or temperature during successive cycles. The heated lid is fully adjustable to provide the proper pressure for use with different height tubes as well as plates. For optimum performance, the lid can be programmed to hold different temperatures. The lid slides away and back from the user to provide full access to samples and reduce the risk of users coming in contact with the hot surface.
