Description
A Bipolar Diathermy System is an electrosurgical device that uses high-frequency electrical current for cutting, coagulating, and ablating tissue during surgery. In bipolar mode, the current passes between two electrodes on the instrument tip, enabling precision cutting with minimal collateral thermal spread. This is particularly useful in urological procedures such as transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and bladder tumor resection (TURBT).
